Hochoka Retreat Center Marketing Enhancement Project

The Hochoka Retreat Center is seeking to enhance its marketing efforts to better reach and engage potential clients. The project involves creating visually appealing flyers that effectively communicate the center's offerings and values. Additionally, a mass texting system needs to be developed to efficiently reach out to potential clients using data from CSV files. The project also includes cleaning and organizing data within the CRM platform to ensure accurate and effective communication. Finally, learners will analyze the results of mass email campaigns sent through the CRM to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Database Integration for Hochoka Retreat Center

The Hochoka Retreat Center is seeking to enhance its donor and client management processes by integrating its existing Excel database into the Give Butter platform. This project aims to streamline data management, improve accessibility, and enhance reporting capabilities. The current system relies heavily on manual data entry and management, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. By transitioning to Give Butter, the center will be able to automate data synchronization, ensuring real-time updates and reducing administrative overhead. The project will involve understanding the data structure of both Excel and Give Butter, mapping the fields accurately, and developing a reliable integration process. This will provide learners with an opportunity to apply their knowledge of database management, data mapping, and integration techniques in a real-world setting. Clean up in the EXCEL file has to occur before the integration into Give Butter can happen. We also have new contacts which need to be entered.

Basic Administration - Communications

Hochoka needs an intern to help with basic administration such as editing program materials; making program materials all have written info at bottom of each page; add into facilitator's guide new material learned from Director going into self leadership learning modules (Trust Technique, etc.) Part of this work will be writing for flyers marketing our programs to home school associations, local county schools, Universities. these would be sent out through our database mass emailing and regular mail to some. We also need forms to be filled out for grant writing. We will train for this. It is just computer work. We have templates and tutorials. The Director will also be available to give guidance.

Database Administration / Crowdfunding Project Management

We also need our database to be used to 1) send out quarterly newsletters. 2) Send out monthly flyers for our a) Retreat Day 2) Volunteer day 3) Breathwork Day
