Cool learning opportunity to use ASKJAN and contribute to data entry regarding disability and workplace-related functions and accommodations. The nature of the work is very repetitive, individualized and completely done on your own time/pace, which is good for flexibility, but may not be for collaboration/learning. Have to be vigilant in communicating needs and asks to the employers, could be more organized overall.

This was a really good opportunity to try something different and do more research-intensive work. It was challenging, but in a good, manageable way!

Magnify access has given me a great opportunity for me to improve on my research skill and be more independent. The workload is very flexible due to weekly deadlines. The tasks requires a lot of time to research, brainstorm and create questions related to disabilities and their accomodations. It helps one understand how to make a good question and how an accommodation can help someone who requires it.

Working with the employers of Website Development for Magnify Access during the "Level UP" program from September 2023 to March 2024 has been a highly rewarding experience. The collaborative atmosphere and the supportive nature of the team greatly facilitated my professional growth and skill enhancement.
