Working with Professor Tigist on the Website Enhancement for Bright Lights For Africa Foundation was a truly wonderful experience. She was always available, supporting both the student team and our organization, ensuring that the work stayed focused and aligned with our vision. Because of her leadership, we now have a website that truly reflects who we are — a platform that allows us to better serve the communities we support in both Canada and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Professor Tigist provided clear direction to the students and always took the time to clarify any questions with us, making the entire process smooth and collaborative. Her dedication, leadership, and collaborative approach greatly contributed to the success of the project. Project did not kick off

It was an absolute please to work with Tigist and her student team at BVC. The student have diverse skills for software development and integrating AI and many other useful features. Highly recommended for small ventures working on software development.

I had the pleasure of working with Tigist and her student group this semester, and I can confidently say this has been the best group experience I’ve had so far through Riipen. From the very beginning, Tigist was clear, concise, and highly professional. Her communication set a strong tone for the project, and that same standard was reflected in the work and conduct of her students. During the final presentation, Tigist remained engaged and supportive, while also challenging her quieter students to contribute and step forward in a kind and courteous way. It was clear she fostered both accountability and care within the team. I would absolutely recommend collaborating with Tigist again—her leadership made this a standout experience.
