Working with NL Eats Community Outreach Inc. on the Agritech Educational Strategy Development project has been a highly rewarding and meaningful experience. As part of the Outreach Team, I had the opportunity to engage directly with potential partners, develop customized communications strategies, and contribute to building a stronger bridge between education and industry in Canada’s agri-tech sector. The NL Eats team fostered a collaborative, mission-driven environment where clear communication, creative problem-solving, and strategic thinking were encouraged and valued. I especially appreciated the strong sense of purpose in the work—focused on empowering youth, supporting sustainability, and addressing gaps in the agri-tech workforce. The project structure allowed me to: Enhance my skills in stakeholder outreach and relationship building Learn about grant applications, curriculum planning, and work-integrated learning models Contribute to a team that was passionate about innovation and inclusivity in agriculture Overall, I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such a forward-thinking organization. This experience has expanded my professional skill set and helped clarify my interest in working at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and education.
